In one-stage cooking plants, the cooking and subsequent thickening processes occur in the same container. Processing times can be shortened by heating the jacket and the mixing device. Products are filled into packaging receptacles, either directly from the kettles or cooker, while still warm, or by first transferring to a buffer vessel.
