Wega® filter dryers
Different processes combined in one system
Wega® filter dryers are further developed pressure strainers with an integrated agitator, designed as vacuum dryers with a heatable or coolable container and filter bottom.
Application:
Wega® filter dryers can be swivelled into various working positions for reaction, precipitation, crystallization, filtration, washing, drying and discharge.
Advantages:
- Ideally suited for the production of sterile pharmaceuticals in GMP-compliant batch operation
- Closed system without product transport between the different process stages
- Personnel and the environment are not exposed to toxic substances and solvents
- Short drying times and uniform product quality due to intensive mixing and sufficiently dimensioned heating surfaces including a heated stirring element
- Only high-quality materials such as austenitic stainless steel (1.4307, 1.4571, ...), fully austenitic stainless steel (1.4539, 1.4828, ...), duplex (1.4462, 1.4410, …), NiCrFeMo alloys with Ni > 40% (Inconel, Hastelloy, ...) are used

- Chemical version: robust functional design for high-quality products
- Pharmaceutical version: the enhanced version for the production of substances with the highest purity requirements
