Our activities are designing, engineering, planning, contracting, installing and servicing of caustic soda recovery plants for the textile industry all over the world.

We focus on the needs of the mercerizers. Therefore, our product program is complemented by other equipment for and around the mercerizing machine, as concentration regulation, caustic soda purification, self cleaning filters (for any use in textile finishing), lye preparation, etc.

KASAG Export AG was established in 1978 for the purpose of promoting and contracting of caustic soda recovery plants designed and engineered by KASAG Engineering AG. This is where the "Export" in the company name originated from. When the engineering company ceased operation, staff was taken over into KASAG Export AG, and since then, its tasks have widened to include all activities of a typical engineering company.

For the manufacturing of our plants according to our design and engineering, we closely cooperate with alliance partners, namely KASAG Langnau AG and Besmer AG. Our program also includes units of our partner Merc Control AG. All 3 companies are also minority shareholders of KASAG Export AG.

The majority of the shareholding is in the hands of Erich Weiss,
who is also the General Manager of the company.
